Overview
HT9980A-GD-RELAY BOX (Grounding Switching Box) is an accessory of the CHT998X series safety tester. It is mainly used to switch the grounding path and achieve grounding tests on various frames. It much saves the time for probe pressing and lifting, greatly improving the efficiency of three grounding tests.
Basic Function
As shown in the figure 1:
A= power light
1, 2, 3= correspond to three channel indicator lights
a =is the input terminal of the grounding switching box
b=is the output terminal of HT9980A
c= the common sampling terminals of three grounding channels,
Connect “c” to the grounding probe
As shown in Figure (2):
4, 5, and 6 are three grounded output terminals for each channel. Connect 4,5 and 6 separately to the grounding probe. During the grounding test, the internal high-voltage relay switches to form a circuit with the probe connected to “c” in Figure (1). B and C are the communication ports between HT9980A and the grounding switching box.
